With a mugshot that looks more like a glamour photo, Paris Hilton reported to jail late last night in order to avoid the media, who had been camped out for days awaiting the heiress to the Hilton Hotels’ fortune arrival.
Instead of being in general population, she will be in solitary confinement for 23 hrs a day, probably spending most it looking at herself in a mirror.
Paris had her first meal after getting situated in jail. It consisted of some cereal, bread and juice. A far cry from what she is used to. I hope she packed on some pounds before going to jail because on that diet, she could come out of jail looking like her ‘Simple Life’ co-star and BFF, Nicole Ritchie.
“I did have a choice to go to a pay jail,†Hilton said Sunday, without giving details. “But I declined because I feel like the media portrays me in a way that I’m not and that’s why I wanted to go to county, to show that I can do it and I’m going to be treated like everyone else. I’m going to do the time, I’m going to do it the right way.
“I am ready to face the consequences of violating probation. During the past few weeks, I have had a lot of time to think and have come to realize that I made some mistakes. “This is an important point in my life and I need to take responsibility for my actions.â€
She spent her last hours of freedom at the MTV Movie awards. Paris will probably only be in jail for 23 days if she behaves properly.
