Here’s a look at the new shoes for Boston Celtics forward Kevin Garnett from the Chinese footwear company Anta. They are called “Anta KG 1 – Beat LA” edition.

I’m guessing he’ll be debuting this on Sunday when the Celtics will be taking on the Los Angeles Lakers at the Staples Center at 3:30 p.m.

Celtics Get Their Man In Sheed

(Photo by Jonathan Daniel/Getty Images)According to Marc Spears of the Boston Globe, free agent Rasheed Wallace has decided to take the mid-level exception from the Boston Celtics. It’s expected that Sheed will receive a two-year deal worth $5.6 to $5.8 million.

“Once (Wallace) had a chance to reflect on everything, and realizing what his objectives are, he just decided this was the best fit for him, all the way around,” said Bill Strickland, Wallace’s agent.

Wallace spent the past 5 seasons playing for the Detroit Pistons. He averaged 12.1 points and 7.4 rebounds a game last season in Detroit.

Magic End Celtics Repeat Title Hopes

Boston Celtics: The Orlando Magic put the Boston Celtics in a big hole early on and it was a hole the Celtics were never able to dig out of as they lost 101-82 in front of a packed house at the TD Banknorth Garden. The Magic now advance to the Eastern Conference Finals against the LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. Former UConn Husky Ray Allen led the Green with 23 points while Paul Pierce had 16.  Glen “Big Baby” Davis added 13 points while Rajon Rondo had 10 point and 10 assists.  Hedo Turkoglu paced the Magic with 25 points while Rashard Lewis had 19. Dwight Howard was a monster again with 12 points, 16 rebounds and 5 blocked shots. Without Kevin Garnett and Leon Powe, the Celtics were forced to the brink for the second straight series. Unfortunately this time it didn’t work out. Great run though for the Green. [ESPN.com]

Magic Force Game 7 As Celtics Go Cold

Boston Celtics: The Orlando Magic took their first lead of the night at the right time late in the game as the Boston Celtics went cold in an 83-75 win by the Magic. The win for Orlando forces a Game 7 back in Boston on Sunday night. Just two days after making comments about his coach,  Dwight Howard showed who’s boss as he put up a 23 point, 22 rebound effort to lead the Magic. Rashard Lewis chipped in with 20 points of his own as well. The Celtics were led by Rajon Rondo’s 19 points, 16 rebounds and 6 assists. Paul Pierce added 17 points and Kendrick Perkins had 15. The TD Banknorth Garden should be rocking on Sunday night at 8 PM on TNT for Game 7. [ESPN.com]

Celtics Comeback To Steal Game 5 From Magic

Boston Celtics: The Boston Celtics were trailing by 14 points with 8:48 to go in the game but used a 29-11 run to close out the game and steal Game 5 from the Orlando Magic 92-88 at the TD Banknorth Garden to take a 3-2 lead. Glen “Big Baby” Davis led the Green with 22 points and Paul Pierce had 19 points. Ray Allen chipped in with 13 points while Stephon Marbury had all 12 of his points in the big 4th quarter. Rashard Lewis paced the Magic with 19 points while Hedo Turkoglu had 18.  Rafer Alston returned form his suspension with 16 points while Dwight Howard had 12 points and 17 rebounds. The series now shifts back to Orlando on Thursday night for Game 6 at 8 PM. [ESPN.com]

Big Baby Buzzer Beater Ties Series At 2

Boston Celtics: Glen “Big Baby” Davis hit the game-winner for the Boston Celtics with no time remaining to give them a 95-94 win over the Orlando Magic in Orlando to tie their Eastern Conference Semifinal up at 2. Paul Pierce led the Celtics with 27 points and the hero, Davis, had 21 points. Rajon Rondo’s monster playoffs continued as he had 21 points, 14 rebounds and 3 assists while Ray Allen and Kendrick Perkins both had 12 points with Perkins adding 13 boards. Dwight Howard led the Magic with 23 points, 17 rebounds and 3 blocks with Rashard Lewis chipping with 2. Game 5 is back in Boston on Tuesday night at 8 PM. [ESPN.com]

Celtics Can’t Overcome Orlando Defense In 21 Point Loss

Boston Celtics: After getting shellacked in Game 2 of their Eastern Conference semifinals matchup with the Boston Celtics, the Orlando Magic turned up their defensive pressure and it helped them to a relatively easy 117-96 win over the Celtics in Orlando. The Magic now lead the best-of-7 series 2-1. Dwight Howard was the man for the Magic tonight with 17 points, 14 rebounds and 5 blocked shots. Rashard Lewis led them with 28 points and Hedo Turkoglu had 24. Paul Pierce led the Green with 27 points. Both Rajon Rondo and Eddie House added 15 points while Kendrick Perkins finished with 10. These same two teams will do battle again on Sunday night in Orlando at 8 PM. [ESPN.com]

House Burns Up The Magic To Tie Series At 1

Boston Celtics: Eddie House came out on fire tonight as he scored 31 points and Rajon Rondo added his third triple-double of the playoffs as the Boston Celtics had no problems in a 112-94 win over the Orlando Magic in front of a packed house at the TD Banknorth Garden. Rondo’s triple-double consisted of 15 points, 11 rebounds and 18 assists. Ray Allen rebounded from a poor performance in Game 1 to finish with 22 points. Kendrick Perkins added 16 and Glen “Big Baby” Davis had 13. Rashard Lewis and Mickeal Pietrus both had 17 points to lead the Magic. These same two teams will be back it again Friday night in Orlando. Celtics Comeback Falls Short In Loss To Magic

Boston Celtics: After falling behind by twenty-eight points to the Orlando Magic, the Boston Celtics made a huge comeback cutting the lead to four points. Unfortunately for the Celtics though that’s as close as they would get as they fell to the Magic 95-90 in front of a packed house at the TD Banknorth Garden.
