The UConn Huskies men’s basketball team opened up the 2009-10 season in the NIT Season Tip-off where they eventually lost to Duke in the finals. And fittingly enough, the Huskies season will end in the Postseason NIT.
How far they will get will depend on which UConn team shows up on Tuesday night when they’ll host the Northeastern Huskies on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. at Gampel Pavilion. The game will be nationally-televised on ESPN2.
The winner will take on the winner of the Quinnipiac/Virginia Tech game.
