Some people may have forgotten but Kelly Shoppach got his start with the Boston Red Sox. He was drafted by them in 2001 in the second round.
He made his MLB debut in 2005 with the Red Sox getting in nine games. He was then traded to the Cleveland Indians in the Coco Crisp deal in the offseason. Now he’s back with the Red Sox and talked about that among other things with Tom Caron and Peter Gammons on the NESN Live set at Fenway South.
