The Memphis Tigers can go from last place in 2013 to at least a share of the American Athletic Conference in 2014 this afternoon with a win over the UConn Huskies. UConn, on the other hand, would like to spoil the Tigers chances of winning the American title.
The American football championship trophy will be on hand today and UConn will do their best to prevent it from being presented to the Tigers. Not only will Memphis be looking for their first American football title, they’ll be looking to avenge a 45-10 loss to the Huskies in 2013.
