ESPN analyst and former NFL head coach Bill Parcells is reportedly ticketed to South Florida to frolic on South Beach in his speedo, hang out with Dan Marino, go fishing with Jimmy Johnson, check out all the “imported” women and oh rebuild the once proud Miami Dolphins back to a franchise that matters in the NFL.
According to Chris Mortensen of ESPN, and we know how wrong Mort has been this year, Parcells will sign a four year contract with the Fish to be the Vice Presidente del Operacions de Futbol or something like that. My junior high spanish is shall we say “el rusty”. They heavy will be the jefe so to speak.
Wednesday morning it was thought that Parcells would be going to Atlanta to make over the Falcons but apparently Arthur Blank didn’t have enough stuff at Home Depot to satisfy Parcells or the lure of no more video rental fees was a bigger draw.
Stay tuned because knowing the Big Tuna like we do in this area you are sure of two things:
- It isn’t a done deal until it’s a signed deal.
- It will be an entertaining process especially if there’s a press conference.
