UConn Huskies women’s basketball player Kalana Greene announced today that she will be returning to UConn for a 5th year. She earned an extra year after taking a medical redshirt last season when she tore her ACL.
“I talked to my parents after the Pittsburgh game [last Sunday]. I love being in college. I love playing basketball in college for this team and university and I am not ready to leave yet.”
In 26 games this season, Greene is averaging 23.5 minutes, 8.1 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.92 asisists and 1.0 steals per game.
She will go through senior night festivities next season with Tina Charles, Jacquie Fernandes, Meghan Gardler and Kaili McLaren.
