Chicago White Sox pitcher Mark Buehrle hurled the season’s first no hitter on Wednesday night against the Texas Rangers as they White Sox won 6-0. Buehrle faced the minimum 27 batters, walking only one and striking out 8. The one walk he allowed was to Sammy Sosa but Buehrle caught Sosa napping and picked him off of first base. The White Sox scored their runs on two Jim Thome solo home runs and a Jermaine Dye grand salami.
