The NFL announced on Monday that they would be flexing the Week 11 matchup between the Indianapolis Colts and the New England Patriots from 1 p.m. to 4:25 p.m.
Week 11 is the first week that the NFL allows the flexing of more meaningful games into prime time or late afternoon positions.
Originally the schedule called for only two late games on November 18. FOX is carrying the New Orleans Saints at Oakland Raiders at 4:05p and CBS carries the San Diego Chargers at Denver Broncos game as the second half of their doubleheader at 4:25p. Now CBS will also have the Indianapolis at New England matchup.
It is expected that Colts/Patriots will only see select markets (Indy and New England) while most of the country will continue to receive the Chargers/Broncos game. At this time CBS still plans on leaving the announce teams as scheduled and the Jim Nantz/Phil Simms duo will remain calling the San Diego at Denver game.
NBC also chose to keep the Baltimore Ravens at Pittsburgh Steelers as the Sunday Night Football game for Week 11.
