HARTFORD, January 24, 2013: AEG Management CT announced today that the Connecticut Whale’s home game February 2 at the XL Center against the Springfield Falcons will feature a “White Out”.
Fans are encouraged to wear white to the game, and the Whale will give away 10,000 white rally towels. Also, fans can share thoughts and excitement throughout the game on Twitter, using the hashtag #whalewhiteout.
Faceoff is 7:00 PM on February 2 as the Whale and Falcons renew their long-time rivalry, and in addition to the White Out and rally towels, the night will also feature an appearance by U.S. Olympic gymnast John Orozco. Orozco will be one of the elite competitors at the 2013 U.S. Gymnastics Championships, which will take place at the XL Center August 15-18.
