Apparently it seems like Brad Wilkerson will not be heading north with the Boston Red Sox when they break camp at the end of the week.
Rob Bradford of WEEI.com is reporting that Wilkerson has left the Red Sox to mull over his options.
Red Sox manager Terry Francona confirmed to reporters this morning that outfielder Brad Wilkerson has left the Red Sox. He doesn’t figure to be in the major league team’s plans heading into the regular season.
This leaves Chris Carter and Jeff Bailey competing for the vacant spot left by Mark Kotsay’s back injury.
