The legendary voice of NFL Films and the Philadelphia Phillies Harry Kalas has passed away today at the age of 73. He was found unconscious in the press box at Nationals Stadium as he was getting ready to call the game between the Phillies and Washington Nationals.
Kalas was found about 12:30 PM this afternoon and was brought to George Washington University Medical Center where he passed at approximately 1:20 PM. The cause of death is not known at this time.
My condolences to the Kalas family and Phillies organization on their loss of one of the greatest voices in the game.
