Chris Carter: According to Rob Bradford of WEEI.com, the Boston Red Sox will be making a roster move before Friday’s series with the New York Yankees as he has learned that Chris Carter will be sent down to Pawtucket. No word on a corresponding roster at this time. Bradford does speculate that Jonathan Van Every could be activated from the DL and added to the roster. [WEEI.com]
