Coached at UConn From 1987-1991: The St. Louis Rams have hired New York Giants defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo to be their head coach. He was given a 4-year deal and the dollar amount isn’t known. Spagnuolo is highly regarded as one of the best defensive minds in the game. He spent time as an assistant coach at UConn under Tom Jackson as the defensive coordinator and defensive backs coach. He will be introduced on Monday morning at an 11 AM press conference.
