The New England Patriots inked two of their remaining three unsigned draft picks today when they signed DB Ras-I Dowling and RB Shane Vereen. A 2nd round pick, Dowling got a four-year contract worth $5.3 million with a $2.35 million signing bonus and other incentives according to a league source.
The terms of Vereen’s contract have not been released yet but it is expected to be a four-year deal as well for the 2nd rounder out of California.
That only leaves first round pick OL Nate Solder unsigned.
