With one swing of Grady Sizemore‘s bat on Friday night, the momentum swung the way of the Boston Red Sox.

Sizemore’s three-run blast off of old friend CC Sabathia capped off a four-run 6th inning as the Red Sox beat the New York Yankees 4-2 at Yankee Stadium on Friday night.

Jonny Gomes started off the scoring in the 6th with a solo home run. Both Gomes and Sizemore finished with two hits on the night.

Jon Lester picked up his first win of the season after allowing two runs on six hits and two walks in 6.2 innings of work. He also struck out six.

Junichi Tazawa and Edward Mujica preserved the win for Lester with Mujica getting the save. Koji Uehara was unavailable after it was reported he had some shoulder stiffness before the game.
