Felix Doubront breezed through the first two innings for the Boston Red Sox against the Texas Rangers on Tuesday night at Fenway Park.

Unfortunately, he didn’t make it out of the 3rd inning as the Rangers rocked him for five runs on their way to a 10-7 win over the Red Sox.

Doubront ended up going 2.1 innings allowing six runs on six hits and three walks while striking out two. Burke Badenhop didn’t fare any better as he gave up four runs on five hits and a walk in relief of Doubront. Brandon Workman was solid in four innings as he allowed a run on two hits with three strikeouts.

Mike Napoli, Grady Sizemore and A.J. Pierzynski all had three hits for the Red Sox with Napoli and Pierzynski adding RBIs. Jackie Bradley Jr. added two hits and two RBIs while David Ortiz had a hit and two RBIs in the game.
