Clay Buchholz (L), Ervin Santana (R)

After being swept for the third consecutive time in Tampa, the Boston Red Sox make the trip up I-75 for the first game of a two-game set with the Atlanta Braves at Turner Field in Atlanta, GA this afternoon.

First pitch is scheduled for 1:10 p.m. The game will be broadcast on NESN in the Red Sox television market. If you live in the Braves television market, you can catch the game on SportsSouth. If you don’t live in either market, you’re in luck as ESPN will have coverage of the game (outside of Red Sox and Braves television markets). You can also catch the game online on WatchESPN where available. And if you can’t catch the game on television, you can always listen on the 2014 Red Sox Radio Network.

The struggling Clay Buchholz makes his 10th start of 2014. In his previous nine starts, Buchholz is 2-4 with a 6.32 ERA. Today marks his first career start against the Braves and at Turner Field.

Ervin Santana makes his ninth start of the 2014 campaign for the Braves. In his previous eight starts, Santana is 4-2 with a 3.42 ERA. He made two starts against the Red Sox as a member of the Kansas City Royals in 2013 and was 1-0 with a 6.75 ERA (8 ER/10.2 IP). He’s made 13 career starts against the Red Sox and is 4-3 with a 4.50 ERA.
