2012 NCAA Women’s Basketball Rankings – Week 15 (Feb. 21)

AP & ESPN/USA Today Coaches Polls

The NCAA women’s basketball rankings are out for the week and after falling to the St. John’s Red Storm on Saturday night, the UConn Huskies took a slight tumble to No. 4.

The Baylor Lady Bears remain as the No. 1 team in both polls and are followed by the Stanford Cardinal, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, UConn and Miami (FL) in both.

Joining Notre Dame and UConn in the top 25 are the Georgetown Hoyas (15/13), Louisville Cardinals (16/17), St. John’s Red Storm (20/25), DePaul Blue Demons (21/18) and the Rutgers Scarlet Knights (24/20).

The West Virginia Mountaineers are the only team from the Big East among the others receiving votes in both polls.

2012 NCAA Women’s Basketball Rankings – Week 14 (Feb. 14)

AP & ESPN/USA Today Coaches Polls

The NCAA women’s basketball rankings are out for the week and the UConn Huskies now find themselves as the No. 2 team in the land after the Notre Dame Fighting Irish were upset by the West Virginia Mountaineers this past weekend.

The Baylor Lady Bears remain as the unanimous No. 1 team in both polls and are followed by UConn, Stanford, Notre Dame and Duke in both as well.

Joining UConn and Notre Dame in the top 25 from the Big East are the Georgetown Hoyas (15/14), Louisville Cardinals (19/16), Rutgers Scarlet Knights (21/18) and the DePaul Blue Demons (24/20).

The Mountaineers and St. John’s Red Storm find themselves among the others receiving votes in both polls.

AP & ESPN/USA Today Coaches Polls

The NCAA women’s basketball rankings are out for the week and the UConn Huskies remain as the No. 3 team in the land. In fact, their only two losses of the season are to the two teams above them.

The Baylor Lady Bears are still No. 1 and they are followed by Notre Dame, UConn and Stanford. The fifth team in the AP Poll is Duke while the fifth ranked team in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll is the Kentucky Wildcats.

Joining the Irish and Huskies in the top 25 from the Big East are the Rutgers Scarlet Knights (13/14), Louisville Cardinals (14/12) and Georgetown Hoyas (17/15). The DePaul Blue Demons are ranked No. 23 in the coaches poll but are among the others receiving votes in the AP Poll.

The St. John’s Red Storm are the only team from the Big East among the others receiving votes in both polls. The South Florida Bulls are among the others receiving votes in the coaches poll.

The Baylor Lady Bears are on top of each polls and are followed in the top five of both polls by the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, UConn, Stanford Cardinal and Duke Blue Devils.

Joining Notre Dame and UConn from the Big East in the top 25 are the Rutgers Scarlet Knights (7/8), Louisville Cardinals (18/15), Georgetown Hoyas (19/17) and DePaul Blue Demons (21/19).

There are no teams from the Big East among the others receiving votes.

2012 NCAA Women’s Basketball Rankings – Week 8 (Jan. 3)

AP & ESPN/USA Today Coaches Polls

The NCAA women’s basketball rankings are out for the first time in the new year and the UConn Huskies remain as the No. 2 team in the land behind the Baylor Lady Bears.

The top five in both polls is the same as it has been the last two weeks. Baylor and UConn are followed by Notre Dame, Stanford and Maryland.

Joining the Huskies and Fighting Irish in the top 25 from the Big East are the Rutgers Scarlet Knights (10/10), Louisville Cardinals (14/12), Georgetown Hoyas (15/16) and DePaul Blue Demons (20/18).

There are no teams from the Big East among the others receiving votes in both polls.

AP & ESPN/USA Today Coaches Polls

The NCAA women’s basketball rankings are out and the UConn Huskies remain as the No. 2 team in the land.

The Baylor Bears are unanimous No. 1 in both polls. They are followed in both polls by UConn, Notre Dame, Stanford and Maryland.

Joining the Huskies and Fighting Irish from the Big East in the top 25 are the Rutgers Scarlet Knights (11/11), Louisville Cardinals (14/13), Georgetown Hoyas (15/16) and DePaul Blue Demons (21/19).

AP & ESPN/USA Today Coaches' Polls

The NCAA women’s basketball rankings came out on Tuesday and the UConn Huskies remain No. 2 in both polls despite falling to No. 1 Baylor on Sunday night.

The top five is the same in both polls from last week as Baylor and UConn are followed by Notre Dame, Stanford and Maryland.

Joining the Huskies and the Irish in the top 25 of both polls are the Rutgers Scarlet Knights (12/11), Louisville Cardinals (14/12), Georgetown Hoyas (17/17) and DePaul Blue Demons (21/19).
