The NCAA women’s basketball rankings are out for the week and after their loss last weekend to Notre Dame Fighting Irish, the UConn Huskies have fallen to No. 3 in both polls.
The Baylor Lady Bears remain No. 1 and are followed by Notre Dame, UConn, Stanford and Maryland in both polls.
Joining the Fighting Irish and Huskies from the Big East in the top 25 are the Rutgers Scarlet Knights (8/9), Louisville Cardinals (16/15), Georgetown Hoyas (18/17) and DePaul Blue Demons (21/19).
The St. John’s Red Storm is the only Big East team among the others receiving votes in both polls. The West Virginia Mountaineers are among the others receiving votes in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll.
