NCAA Men’s College Basketball Polls – Week 12

AP & USA Today PollsIt’s official. The UConn Huskies men’s basketball team is the new No. 1 team in the land after the Duke Blue Devils fell last week to the Wake Forest Demon Deacons.

Things won’t be easy though for the Huskies as they are in Louisville tonight to take on Rick Pitino’s No. 5/7 Cardinals at Freedom Hall. The Cardinals have already dispensed one No. 1 team this season (Pittsburgh) and will be looking to do the same tonight.

The Big East and ACC dominate the top 10 of the two polls as both have 4 representatives. It’s also that time of the year where we hear about a school’s RPI rating.

NCAA Men’s College Basketball Polls – Week 11

AP Poll, USA Today/ESPN PollThere’s a new No. 1 team in men’s college basketball this week and it’s the team I loathe the most, the Duke Floppers Blue Devils. The good things is out UConn Huskies basketball team moved up to the No. 2 spot in the land after an impressive win over Notre Dame on Saturday night. Some thought that win might propel them to the top spot but Duke’s thrashing of Maryland was just a little more impressive.

NCAA Men’s College Basketball Polls – Week 9

The NCAA men’s college basketball polls are out and the Pittsburgh Panthers remain the No. 1 team in the land. With Wake Forest’s “upset” of the North Carolina Tar Heels yesterday, the UConn Huskies were fortunate to move up to No. 4 in both polls.

NCAA Men’s College Basketball Polls – Week 8

The men’s college basketball polls are out and this week we have a new No. 1 team in the country. Pittsburgh has risen to the top after the North Carolina Tar Heels lost to Boston College on Sunday night. Our UConn Huskies fell to No. 5 after losing to Georgetown last week. Pittsburgh beat the Hoyas on Saturday afternoon and the Hoyas have since lost tonight to the Notre Dame Fightin’ Irish.
