Actor Jason Bateman (Horrible Bosses, Juno, Arrested Development) explains the art of making a big move. In this case, that applies not only to dating but to the MLB Postseason on TBS. Beginning on September 30, TBS will begin televising the 2011 MLB Postseason for the fifth consecutive year.  The network will provide exclusive coverage of all four MLB League Division Series (ALDS & NLDS) and the National League Championship Series (NLCS).

Sans the Red Sox talking baby, NESN has come up with some good commercials in their “Sox for Life” advertising campaign. This one with the pigeons may take the proverbial cake though.

Just when you think you’ve seen it all, Boston Red Sox third baseman Kevin Youkilis goes out and makes a commercial. We’all know what his walkup song to the plate is in Biz Markies’s “Just a Friend”.

During the 5th inning of Wednesday night’s Boston Red Sox vs Texas Rangers game, Josh Beckett saved his own life. He did so when he used his “cat-like” reflexes to snare an Ian Kinsler liner that was going straight for his head.

A lot has been said about John Lackey‘s antics when he’s on the mound for the Boston Red Sox.

We’ve seen him give skipper Terry Francona an earful when he’s taken him out of the game. We’ve seen him shrug his shoulders or put his arms in the air in disgust after a miscue by one of the fielders.

Now last night after Jacoby Ellsbury made a great running catch, we saw something we’ve never seen from Lackey before. A tip of the cap towards Ellsbury after making the catch.

So if you blinked and missed it last night, strap yourself into the chair or wherever you’re sitting because I guess you’ll just have to see it to believe it.

Before Friday night’s Boston Red Sox vs Kansas City Royals game at Kauffman Stadium, there was a drumline performing before the game. And as only he can do, Jerry Remy entertained himself and now us with a little dance to the beat of the drums.

I can’t say for sure what Don Orsillo was doing but it appeared he was trying to play air drums.

After the chicken hats earlier in the evening, it may be safe to say that two days into this eight game road trip the duo has already lost their minds.

At some point earlier this season, NESN’s Don Orsillo and Jerry Remy were making fun of a lady and a man wearing chicken hats on their heads. As usual, they had one of their giggle fits.

Well during Friday night’s Boston Red Sox vs Kansas City Royals game, DO and the RemDawg were seen sporting the chicken hats in the booth. The chicken lady and man sent the masks up to them in the booth since they are in Kansas City for the game.

Before Wednesday’s game, Boston Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia needed someone to watch his son Dylan while he was receiving his player of the month award. So who else but Uncle Tito, Red Sox skipper Terry Francona got to hold him while his dad got his award.
