No changes in the top 12 this week. No one did anything up there for me to warrant a jump. Most of the shuffling I have is in the middle of the poll as three teams dropped.

Auburn and Georgia return to my poll and the Washington Huskies are off to a fast start and jump in at No. 24 this week.

The NCAA college football polls came out earlier on Sunday and there’s no change at the top in either poll.

LSU is still No. 1 in the AP Poll and is followed by Alabama, Oklahoma, Wisconsin and Boise State. In the USA Today Coaches’ Poll, Oklahoma is still No. 1 and is followed by LSU, Alabama, Wisconsin and Stanford.

The only team ranked in the top 25 still from the Big East is the West Virginia Mountaineers who come in at No. 11/14.

The Cincinnati Bearcats and Rutgers Scarlet Knights are the only teams from the Big East among the others receiving votes.

The only changes I made in my top five this week were flipping Wisconsin and Boise State. While the Broncos have been impressive this season, the Badgers have been equally the same if not better with a tougher schedule. Hence the switch.

As for the rest, Georgia Tech is my big mover of the week. Even though they struggled against Maryland, I’m thinking they should have been rewarded earlier for their strong season. It’s never too late to make up for that so it’s done now.

It’s hard to keep Texas A&M in with two losses but they play a really tough schedule so they do deserve to be in there. Penn State and Houston are the new teams this week.

The NCAA college football polls are out and once again there’s no change at the top of either poll.

In fact, the AP Poll top 10 this week is the same as it was last week with LSU at the top. In USA Today Coaches poll, Oklahoma is still on top. The only change in the top five was Wisconsin (4th) and Stanford (5th) flipping spots from last week.

The only team in the top 25 of either poll from the Big East is the West Virginia Mountaineers who come in at No. 13 in the AP Poll and No. 16 in the Coaches Poll.

The South Florida Bulls are the only team from the Big East in the others receiving votes in both polls. The Cincinnati Bearcats are among the others receiving votes in the AP Poll while the Rutgers Scarlet Knights are among the others receiving votes in the Coaches Poll.

SB Nation BlogPoll College Football Rankings 2011

The NCAA college football polls are out for the week and there’s no change at the top of either poll.

LSU remains No. 1 in the AP Poll followed by Alabama, Oklahoma, Wisconsin and Boise State. Oklahoma remains No. 1 in the Coaches Poll followed by Alabama, LSU, Stanford and Wisconsin.

South Florida fell out of the top 25 in both polls after losing to the Pittsburgh Panthers leaving the Big East with just the West Virginia Mountaineers (No. 16/19) in the polls.

The Bulls are still among the others receiving votes in both polls. They are joined in that same category by Pitt and Cincinnati.

I made the change at the top with LSU jumping from No. 3 to No. 1. I felt as though they were more impressive in their games than Oklahoma and Alabama. Some may disagree with me there but that’s my opinion.

No other big changes to the poll.

With North Carolina falling out of my poll, Michigan State jumps back in. They hadn’t gotten any respect from me in earlier polls so I felt as though it was best to get them in there and show them that respect they deserve.
