Saturday afternoon at Gampel Pavilion in Storrs, CT., UConn Huskies senior All-American center Tina Charles became just the second active Husky to be inducted into the “Huskies of Honor“. Shortly after that, she went on to the court and put on a show for the Husky faithful.
2010 NCAA Men’s Basketball Rankings (Feb. 15)
Both the AP and USA/Today ESPN Coaches Men’s Basketball Top 25 polls are out and we find Kansas still sitting atop both. And on another note, the coaches have finally decided the UConn Huskies weren’t worthy of receiving votes.

Caron Butler Heading To Dallas
The 2010 NBA All-Star Game is in Dallas on Sunday but that’s not exactly where former UConn Husky and current Washington Wizards small forward Caron Butler is heading.
He’ll be going to Dallas as he was traded to the Dallas Mavericks in a seven player deal on Saturday night.

Charles In Charge As Huskies Beat Red Storm
Tina Charles showed UConn Huskies fans why she was inducted into the “Huskies of Honor” before the game on Saturday with her performance against the St. John’s Red Storm.
Charles had 25 points and a career-high 21 rebounds to help the Huskies to 66-52 win over the Red Storm in front of 10,167 in the WBCA Pink Zone game to benefit the Kay Yow/WBCA Cancer Fund at Gampel Pavilion.
It’s the 64th straight win for the No. 1/1 Huskies as they improve to 25-0 (12-0 Big East). It’s also the second straight season they’ve started 25-0. The No. 25/24 Red Storm lose just their fifth game as they fall to 20-5 (8-4 Big East).
