During interview that aired on WBZ in Boston on Sunday night, Boston Red Sox DH David Ortiz said if he wasn't offered a long-term extension that he could move on to another team.
Ortiz is in the second year of a two-year deal worth $26 million. He did state though that he prefers to retire as a member of the Red Sox.
So folks, do you think he deserves an extension? I do.

Boston Red Sox DH David Ortiz will be debuting a short film "See What Good Food Can Do" at the Sundance Film Festival with the help of Pedigree.
Ortiz took time on Tuesday to talk with FOX 61's Logan Byrnes about the project.

After retiring before spring training last year, former Boston Red Sox captain Jason Varitek stayed away from baseball as he best he could. He did participate in a few of the memorable events from the 2012 season along with his own special day.
Now he finds himself back on the field at spring training. But this time around it's as an instructor as he's a special assistant to GM Ben Cherington.
On Wednesday, Varitek talked with the assembled media about his role with the club.

Then during the segment, Jessica Moran announced that "Kevin from Austin" was calling in and of course it was Millar defending himself.
