In the first inning of today’s 5-1 win for the Boston Red Sox over the San Francisco Giants, David Ortiz became the first player from the Red Sox to a hit a home run into McCovey Cove.

Video: Mixed Reaction in Manny’s Return To Fenway

It was probably what was expected with Manny Ramirez returning to Fenway Park to face his former club the Boston Red Sox since his trade to his current team the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The Fenway faithful greeted Manny with some boos and cheers along with a “Manny” chant. And of course in typical Manny fashion, there was no tip of the cap to the fans. Anti-climatic to say the least.

Here’s the video for you to enjoy or not. Your call.

Video: Manny Being Manny

Okay, I’ve got one final Manny being Manny video in anticipation of his return to Fenway Park to face his former club the Boston Red Sox tonight at Fenway Park.

This one from NESN contains all of Manny’s moments as a member of the Red Sox.

Enjoy or don’t. Your choice.

Video: Manny “Pets” Julian Tavarez

In another classic Manny being Manny moment, Manny Ramirez “pets” Julian Tavarez while they are both sitting in the Boston Red Sox dugout. What’s even better is the fact that Don Orsillo and Jerry Remy lose it in the NESN booth.

Video: Manny Being Manny Top 10

With Manny Ramirez making his return to Fenway Park for the first time since his trade to the Los Angeles Dodgers, it’s time to take a look at some of the Manny being Manny moments.

Here’s a video from what I’m assuming is a Japanese SportsCenter of some of Manny’s lowlights and highlights as a member of the Boston Red Sox and Cleveland Indians.

Video: Welcome To The Show Daniel Nava

The on going unbelievable story of Boston Red Sox outfielder Daniel Nava continued on Saturday afternoon at Fenway Park as he took the first big league pitch he saw and planted into the Red Sox bullpen for a grand slam.

He joins Kevin Kouzmanoff, of the Cleveland Indians, as the only players to hit grand slams on the first pitch they saw in the show. He’s also only the fourth person in MLB history to hit a grand slam in his first at-bat.

Video: DO & RemDawg Asked Out By Two Single Ladies

During the 8th inning of last night’s 11-0 win by the Boston Red Sox over the Baltimore Orioles at Camden Yards, the camera panned to a sign that was asking NESN’s Don Orsillo and Jerry Remy out on a date. Of course the hilarious duo had their own response to the sign at two different points in the inning.
