During the rain delay of last night’s Toronto Blue Jays eventual 9-6 win over the Boston Red Sox, 45-year old infielder Omar Vizquel showed off his best dance skills in the dugout.

If this was the final day for Kevin Youkilis in a Boston Red Sox uniform, and it appears to be the case, the Fenway Faithful made sure to give Youk the ovation that was most definitely deserved in his first at-bat.

Youk got one final at-bat in the 7th inning and tripled in a run. After dusting himself off, he was taken out of the game and given yet another ovation by the fans and this time his teammates. He was then prodded by Bobby Valentine to come out for one last curtain call.

It’s definitely a sad day here in Red Sox Nation as you can’t overlook the contributions he made on the field and off the field.

With Daniel Nava on second base, Salty came in to pinch-hit for Marlon Byrd and delivered the heroics for the Red Sox as he gave them a 3-2 win over the Tampa Bays to get their record back to .500.
