Video: Don Orsillo “Attempts” To Dance By Doing The Sprinkler

With the Boston Red Sox enjoying a big lead on Wednesday night, we all know the dynamic duo of Don Orsillo and Jerry Remy can get a little silly. While Orsillo said this was taped last night, given what was going on the game, it seemed an appropriate time for him to break out in dance.

Now please hold your applause until the end after you watch Orsillo “attempt” to do the sprinkler along with a little shopping cart.

Video: Youk Makes His Fenway Return

For the first time since he was traded to the Chicago White Sox on June 24th, former Boston Red Sox fan favorite Kevin Youkilis made his return to Fenway Park on Monday night. Of course he got a single in his first at-bat after a rousing ovation from the Fenway Faithful.

Video: Yankees TV Booth Sings “Call Me, Maybe”

Earlier in the New York Yankees vs Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim game on Saturday afternoon, YES color analyst David Cone made a reference to the song “Call Me, Maybe” when the camera was positioned on the Yankees bullpen.

A little later in the game, Yankees play-by-play guy Michael Kay announced that Cone was trending on Twitter in New York due to the earlier reference to the song. Then they bust out a line of “Call Me, Maybe”.

Video: Don & Jerry Attempt To Dance In the Booth

It feels like we’re becoming a dancing blog here at SOX & Dawgs.

After all, we had Omar Vizquel dancing in the Toronto Blue Jays dugout last week and earlier this week, we had Munenori Kawasaki of the Seattle Mariners dancing in the dugout as well.

Maybe NESN’s Boston Red Sox announcers Don Orsillo and Jerry Remy were feeling a little jealous as they showed off dances move of their own during Monday night’s game.

If you were ever thinking of getting Don and Jerry a gift for something, dance lessons might be a good place to start.

Video: Munenori Kawasaki Shows Off His Dance Moves

Either opposing players are happy to the see the Boston Red Sox or they just like to cut a rug.

Last week, we saw Omar Vizquel show off his dance moves during a rain delay when the Toronto Blue Jays were in town. And yesterday while the Red Sox were in Seattle, reserve Mariners infielder Munenori Kawasaki showed off his own moves as he tried to mimic the Mariners grounds crew as they were doing maintainance on the field before the 7th inning.

Video: Don & Jerry Entertain The Viewers

The always amusing Don Orsillo and Jerry Remy spent about 25 minutes during three segments last night entertaining the viewers during the one hour and fifty six minute rain delay that ensued during last night’s Boston Red Sox versus Toronto Blue Jays game.
