I don’t want to give anything away just yet or publicly announce what’s going on but I wanted to let everyone know that some exciting things will be happening around here in the coming weeks.

No, the blog isn’t going on a hiatus again or anything. When I took the hiatus, I took a look at the long-term future of the site and after thinking about it for a while, I decided to put a plan in motion.

Well that plan has started moving and in a few weeks, you’ll see it in action.

I will say I’m very excited for what’s going to be taking place.

My apologies for the sporadic posting this week. I’ve had a wicked bad cold since Monday afternoon that’s pretty much zapped all the energy that I have.

I will do my best to post what I can today as  I’ve started to turn the corner somewhat.

Now that Tiger Woods has come “clean” with his statement this morning, what are your thoughts about him? Was he sincere? When do you think he’ll return?

May your 2010 be better than your 2009. I certainly hope that holds true for me.

Please take a moment of your day today to remember the people who gave their lives on this day back in 1941 defending our country.

If you ever go to Hawaii, I highly advise going over to Pearl Harbor and doing the tour. It will leave you speechless.

AJ, the beloved family chocolate lab, passed away peacefully this morning. He was 12 years old.

AJ lived a full life and enjoyed every minute of it. He will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his master, my father, and the ones he dominated, my mother, myself and my brother.

I will always remember the day that we picked out AJ at the breeders.

We were looking at the all chocolate lab pups and I was sitting on the ground. AJ came over to me and crawled into my lap and just layed there and fell asleep. That’s how we choose him.

He always loved when I came to visit him at the lakehouse because that meant he was going swimming. When I would get there, he wouldn’t even let me do anything without taking him for a swim first. I’ll miss that.

Rest in peace AJ, rest in peace.
