The NCAA Women’s Basketball USA Today Coaches Poll came out on Monday and just like the AP Poll, the UConn Huskies are the preseason favorites.
They are joined in the top five by the South Carolina Gamecocks, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Tennessee Volunteers and Texas A&M Aggies.
There are no other teams from the American Athletic Conference ranked in the top 25. The South Florida Bulls are the only team from the American among the others receiving votes.
During the season, we’ll be published both polls together in one post on Tuesdays. The AP Poll comes out on Monday while the USA Today Coaches Poll comes out on Tuesday. Yeah, I don’t get it either.
