When the Stanford Cardinal and UConn Huskies women's basketball teams step on Maples Pavilion court on Saturday, they will do be doing so as the No. 1 and No. 2 teams in the country.
If UConn wins, the odds are they'll be the No. 1 team and there's no telling where Stanford will drop to.
The Cardinal and Huskies are followed by the Baylor Lady Bears, Duke Blue Devils and Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the top five of both polls.
Joining UConn and Notre Dame from the Big East in the top 25 are the Louisville Cardinals (12/12).
The Syracuse Orange and Villanova Wildcats are the only teams from the Big East among the others receiving votes in both polls. The St. John's Red Storm, Rutgers Scarlet Knights and DePaul Demons are among the others receiving votes in the Coaches Poll.
