The NCAA women's basketball rankings are out and the UConn Huskies remain as the No. 2 team in the land. However, they've closed the gap between them and the No. 1 Stanford Cardinal in both polls.
Stanford and UConn are followed by the Baylor Lady Bears, Duke Blue Devils and Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the top five of both polls.
Joining UConn and Notre Dame from the Big East in the top 25 are the Louisville Cardinals (8/8).
The St. John's Red Storm and Syracuse Orange are the only teams from the Big East amongst the others receiving votes in both polls. The South Florida Bulls and DePaul Blue Demons are among the others receiving votes in the USA Today Coaches' Poll.
