AP & ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll

The NCAA women’s basketball rankings are out and despite falling last night, the UConn Huskies remain as the No. 4 team in the country in both polls.

The Baylor Lady Bears are the unanimous No. 1 team in both polls and are followed by the Stanford Cardinal, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, UConn and Duke Blue Devils in the AP Poll. The top four is the same in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll with the Maryland Terrapins as the No. 5 team.

Joining the Fighting Irish and Huskies in the top 25 from the Big East are the Georgetown Hoyas (12/14), St. John’s Red Storm (18/21), Louisville Cardinals (20/17) and the Rutgers Scarlet Knights (23/19). The DePaul Blue Demons are among the others receiving votes in the AP Poll but are ranked No. 23 in the coaches poll.

The West Virginia Mountaineers are the only team from the Big East among the others receiving votes in both polls.
