After being knocked out by a bad cold for the past week that has left my blogging to be a tad bit inconsistent with things, I should be able to get back to things like ya’ll are used too. And one of those things is the coverage of the Boston Red Sox.

As you may know by now, the UConn Huskies women’s basketball team beat the Notre Dame Fighting Irish 59-44 in the semifinals of the Big East Tournament. They’ll take on the West Virginia Mountaineers in Tuesday night’s final.
And for those wondering about the status of Caroline Doty, who accidently was elbowed in the head, she is questionable for the game against the Mountaineers.
With the No. 1 Syracuse Orange losing to the Louisville Cardinals last Saturday, a new No. 1 team had to be crowned. And that lucky team is once again the Kansas Jayhawks, who have held the position at two different times this season.
With NFL free agency in full swing and some of the big names going fast and furious to new teams, the New England Patriots have decided in some cases to just hold onto what they have. Continue reading

The 82nd Oscars were presented on Sunday night in a ceremony that aired on ABC from Hollywood’s Kodak Theatre. “The Hurt Locker” which was nominated for nine Academy Awards came away with six of them, including “Best Picture” and “Best Director”.
