UConn's Jeremy Lamb hits a breakaway dunk with AIC's D.J. Gutridge (15) and Spencer Braithwaite trailing during the first half of an exhibition game at Gampel Pavilion in Storrs.

The only time that former UConn Huskies guard Jeremy Lamb ever plays a regular season game in Houston will now come when his new team, the Oklahoma City Thunder, visits the Toyota Center.

Lamb, the 12th overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft by the Houston Rockets, was just one part of a huge trade that the Rockets and Thunder pulled off late Saturday night.

The Thunder are sending James Harden, the 2012 winner of the NBA's Sixth Man Award, as well as Cole Aldrich, Daequan Cook and Lazar Hayward to the Rockets for Lamb, Kevin Martin, two future first round draft picks and a future second round pick.

Lamb appeared in six preseason games for the Rockets, making one start. In those six games, he averaged 6.2 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists.
