As Steve pointed out in last night’s Boston Red Sox game recap, Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Scott Downs slipped and fell going to field a chopped ball off of  Jacoby Ellsbury’s bat. The slip and fall would cost the Jays the game as the winning run came in to score on Ellsbury’s 20 foot single.
