Given everything that happened at the end of the 2011 season for the Boston Red Sox, it shouldn’t be really that much of a surprise that Josh Beckett didn’t say anything. We all know his disdain for the media from the countless interviews he’s given.
But the reason Beckett didn’t talk after the season isn’t what everyone thinks, it turns out he was busy with his wife and new daughter.
Beckett’s silence ended on Thursday afternoon when he appeared on MLB Network’s Intentional Talk with his good buddy Kevin Millar and Chris Rose. In the interview, he talks about new skipper Bobby Valentine’s visit among many other topics.
