Relief pitcher Koji Uehara #19 (L) and catcher David Ross #3 of the Boston Red Sox celebrate their win over the Chicago White Sox at U.S. Cellular Field on April 17, 2014 in Chicago, Illinois.

While the season is still young, the Boston Red Sox have only won one series so far in 2014. After last night’s win, you can make that two.

David Ross‘ RBI double in the 9th inning scored Mike Napoli to put the Red Sox ahead for good in a 3-1 win over the Chicago White Sox at U.S. Cellular Field.

Jonathan Herrera added the final run on a bases loaded safety squeeze bunt. Xander Bogaerts got the visiting nine on the board with a solo home run in the 6th inning breaking up the no-hitter of Chris Sale.

Jon Lester was outstanding on the mound as he went eight innings, allowing just the one run on seven hits while striking out nine. Koji Uehara returned from his shoulder issues to pick up his third save of the season.
