The on going unbelievable story of Boston Red Sox outfielder Daniel Nava continued on Saturday afternoon at Fenway Park as he took the first big league pitch he saw and planted into the Red Sox bullpen for a grand slam.
He joins Kevin Kouzmanoff, of the Cleveland Indians, as the only players to hit grand slams on the first pitch they saw in the show. He’s also only the fourth person in MLB history to hit a grand slam in his first at-bat.
