The New England Patriots made some roster moves today placing rookie LB Shawn Crable on the season ending injured reserve list without ever having played a game in his first season.
Crable, a 3rd round pick out of Michigan, had been nursing a shin injury and hadn’t seen the playing field since the preseason games.
In a corresponding move the team signed 8 year veteran CB Jason Webster who they cut in training camp and added him to the 53-man roster. Webster, a former second round pick in 2000 by the San Francisco 49ers, has also played for Atlanta and Buffalo.
