According to a source from the NFL the New England Patriots have signed free-agent receiver Maurice Price and have placed him on the the 53- man roster.
Price was waived by the Kansas City Chiefs late last week. He also worked out for Seattle and Baltimore, before coming to Foxboro for a tryout Tuesday.
Price, who went to Charleston Southern, is 6’1″, 200 and will add some more size and speed to a receiving corps. He also has some experience on special teams.
The club also released safety Mark Dillard from the practice squad and re-signed OL Ryan Wendell to the practice squad.
