With the roster having to be cut down to 53 by 6 p.m. EDT on Saturday, the New England Patriots announced via Twitter that they had cut six players on Friday afternoon.
They are QB Andrew Walter, OG Billy Yates, DB Roderick Rogers, DL Stephen Williams, LB Vinny Ciurciu and WR Robert Ortiz.
The Patriots roster is now down to 66 players with thirteen more to go on Saturday.
