Have you or someone you know ever wanted to shake it in front of 70,000 people on a beautiful fall New England afternoon?
Well this is your chance because this Saturday the New England Patriots are holding open auditions for the 2012 Cheerleaders at the Dana Farber Field House at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro. Registration begins at 10 a.m.
You need to be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED in order to take part in the tryouts.
Candidates will perform two designated routines and a freestyle combination. They will be judged on dance ability, showmanship, overall appearances and level of physical fitness. The judges will select 65 who will move onto the next round on March 17.
The team annually selects 24-30 women and rehearses twice a week during the season and performs at all Patriots home games. For more information visit patriots.com/cheerleaders.
