OscarsThe Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has released the nominees for the 2010 Academy Awards affectionately known as The Oscars. “Avatar” and “The Hurt Locker” both lead the way with nine nominations.  Also take note that there are ten films nominated for best picture instead of five. You will notice some notable omissions from the awards such as Julianne Moore in “A Single Man” and “Invictus” in the best picture category.
