Just like they did during the 2009-10 season, the two-time defending national champion UConn Huskies women’s basketball team will face the Notre Dame Fightin’ Irish twice during the upcoming 2010-11 season. In previous years, the Huskies had faced Rutgers twice.
The Big East also released the home/away opponents for the 2010-11 women’s basketball season and here’s how it breaks down for the UConn women:
Home – Notre Dame, DePaul, Louisville, Marquette, Pittsburgh, Seton Hall, Syracuse, Villanova
Away – Notre Dame, Cincinnati, Georgetown, Providence, Rutgers, St. John’s, USF, West Virginia.
