This morning I had wrote in the daily UConn roundup that the exhibition game against AIC wasn’t going to be on a television. Well now it turns out that all of the UConn Huskies men’s and women’s basketball exhibition games will be shown live on the internet.
Of course there’s a price to pay. It will cost you $9.95 to catch the games on Husky Vision. And if you do decide to order them, make sure you cancel it afterwards as the $9.95 is a recurring charge per month.
Here’s the press release from the University of Connecticut department of athletics:
STORRS, Conn. – Four University of Connecticut men’s and women’s basketball exhibition games will be available via streaming video at HuskyVision on UConnHuskies.com. The four exhibition games will not be available on commercial television.
A subscription to HuskyVision is required to view the games and is priced at $9.95 and can be purchased at UConnHuskies.com.
The four games that will be streamed will be: Wed., November 4, men vs. AIC, 7:00 p.m. from the XL Center in Hartford; Thur., November 5, women vs. Saint Rose, 7:30 p.m. from Gampel Pavilion in Storrs; Sun., November 8, men’s vs. UMass-Lowell, 1:00 p.m. from Storrs; and Mon., November 9, women vs. Vanguard, 7:00 p.m. from the XL Center.
The games will also be archived on the site for viewing by subscribers.
