In football news out of UCONN, Coach Randy Edsall announced that Larry Taylor, WR and kick returner, will miss this week’s game against the Cincinnati Bearcats with concussion like symptoms. Taylor initially suffered the injury in the Pittsburgh game and was knocked out of the Syracuse game with the same injury after being absolutely pounded after catching a punt by Syracuse. QB DJ Hernandez suffered a wrist injury in the game but should be ok for this weekend’s game. No word yet on whether or not UCONN cornerback Darius Butler will return to the lineup this week. Also Dan Murray is listed as questionable after suffering a sprain in one of the joints of his shoulder.
