It wasn’t what Red Sox Nation was expecting. The Kansas City Royals came into Boston with one of the worst records in the AL and took 2 of 3 from the beloved Red Sox. Yo-Yo Tavarez sucked it up for his 5th straight start and the bats didn’t come through when they were needed. Remember when Big Papi would come up and deliver a clutch hit in the 9th, it seems like those days are gone. Julio Lugo is finally starting to do what he was supposed to do all season and that’s hit the ball. I think maybe it’s time for Tito to shake up the lineup. Also I think the brass needs to consider bringing up Jon Lester and moving Yo-Yo to the bullpen. But that’s just my opinion from the couch. Plus with the Skanks winning again, the lead is now down to 7 games. The last time it was this close, the Skanks went on another losing streak and the Red Sox started winning.

Anywho, let’s take a look at the headlines from last night’s debacle from the Boston area and Kansas City media before the Chicago White Sox hit Boston.
