With the Boston Red Sox getting ready to take on the Minnesota Twins across town at Hammond Stadium, the news coming from City of Palms Park is good. Josh Beckett met with reporters this morning and said he was feeling better.

It doesn’t look like he’ll make his next start on Thursday but the fact he is feeling better is a good sign. Hopefully Red Sox Nation will let out its collective sigh of relief now. What we don’t need is Beckett having to battle this all season long. And my best guess would be is that you probably won’t see Beckett shagging any more fly balls during spring training this year.

Here are the lineups for today’s game.
