Kyle Weiland (L), Jeremy Hellickson (R)

After falling again last night, the Boston Red Sox look to get snap out of their funk in the middle game of a three-game set tonight at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, FL.

Today’s first pitch is scheduled for 7:10 p.m. and will be broadcast on NESN in the Red Sox television market. If you live in the Rays television market, you can catch the game on Sun Sports. And if you can’t catch the television broadcast, you can always listen to the game on the 2011 Red Sox Radio Network.

Kyle Weiland makes his third start (fourth appearance) of the 2011 season. In his first three appearances (two starts), Weiland is 0-1 with a 6.75 ERA. Tonight marks his first ever appearance against the Rays.

Jeremy Hellickson looks to pull his team even closer to the Red Sox in the AL Wild Card standings in his 26th start of the season. In his previous 25 starts, Hellickson is 12-10 with a 2.90 ERA. He’s made two starts against the Red Sox this season and is 1-1 with a 3.65 ERA (5 ER/12.1 IP). He’s made three career appearances (two starts) against the Red Sox and is 1-1 with a 5.14 ERA (8 ER/14 IP).
